Have what you want and want what you have? I used to think money was the key to leading a first class life. Through a lifetime of exploration – from leaving home at 20 to move across a continent and an ocean, with no job, no place to live, and no plan; to traveling across Europe alone after a bad breakup; to leaving a perfectly good job to start my own business at the start of the great recession; and lots of adventures in between – I discovered the true secret is to know what you want and what makes you happy. Most of us accept what we’re told our life is going to be like, we settle for what we think we can have, and we go along to get along. Transforming from worker bee – an average existence doing what I was told to do – to Queen Bee – living life on my own terms – was one of the hardest but most satisfying journeys of my life, and it’s my honor and pleasure to help illuminate that path for others.
